PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a replacement frequency of a tool even if a point is abraded by scribing.SOLUTION: Both sides of a ridgeline are set as a point by forming an inclined plane from both sides of a base to the corner of the base 11 of a diamond tool 10. Any point of this diamond tool 10 is contacted with a substrate, and is scribed without rolling. When the point is abraded by scribing, the diamond tool 10 is rotated, and is thereby scribed by using another point. Thus, a plurality of points can be used by one diamond tool, so that a replacement frequency of the diamond tool can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
