The invention relates to a pneumatic installation for preventing icicle formation and for removing icicles. According to the invention, the installation comprises a framework (3, 3') mounted under the elements intended to be protected against icicle formation or from which icicles are intended to be removed, the said framework (3, 3') being meant to support a rubber cushion (2) that can be repeatedly inflated and deflated, using an air compressor (6) with pressure regulator, supplied from an energy source (11), the maximal pressure of inflation of the rubber cushion (2) being regulated by an electronic pressure switch (10) which, upon reaching the maximal set pressure, supplies an electrically-operated valve (9) which instantaneously discharges the air from the rubber cushion (2). |
