Provided is a two-motor vehicle drive device with a structure wherein the size of the speed reducers (2L, 2R) in the radial direction is small, the number of oil seals (39) for lubricating oil filled in the speed reducers (2L, 2R) is kept to a minimum, and the oil seals (39) are only in contact with the shafts that rotate at the slowest speed. The motor shafts (12a) of electric motors (1L, 1R) have a hollow structure. Input gears (23) are integrally provided on an end of the side of the motor shafts (12a). Output shafts (25) are provided coaxially inside the hollow motor shafts (12a). Output gears (25a) are integrally provided on an end of the side of the output shafts (25). In the speed reducers (2L, 2R), intermediate shafts (24) are provided parallel to the motor shafts (12a) and the output shafts (25). As a result of the engagement of multiple gears, which are integrally provided on the intermediate shafts (24), with the input gears (23) of the motor shafts (12a) as well as the output gears (25a) of the output shafts (25), the rotations of the motor shafts (12a) are decelerated and transmitted to the output shafts (25). |
