PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine capable of magnetizing a low coercivity magnet, installed on the rotor side, with an input of a small magnetization current.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 100 includes: a stator 11 having an armature coil 14 which generates a magnetic flux by the electric conduction of a drive current for rotation control from the outside; and a rotor 21 having an induction coil 27 which generates an induction current by a magnetic flux interlinked from the stator side, and a field coil 28 which generates a magnetic flux by the electric conduction of the induction current (field current). The rotor has a low coercivity magnet 51, buried on the side in proximity to the stator, for each of a plurality of rotor teeth 22 on which a field coil is wound. The low coercivity magnet is magnetized by the superposition of a pulse current with a drive current conducting electricity to the armature coil.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
