PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device having a relay optical system that the assembly cost is suppressed lower because accuracy required for position adjustment of each component is reduced. SOLUTION: This optical pickup device is provided with a semiconductor laser chip 1, a collimator lens 2 for collimating the laser light from the semiconductor laser chip 1, a 1st relay lens 7 for converging the parallel laser light into converged laser light, a galvano-mirror 8 for deflecting the laser light for tracking operation, an optical path switch 9 for selectively changing over the optical path of the laser light, 2nd relay lenses 10a and 10b for re-collimating the laser light, raising mirrors 11a and 11b for deflecting the laser light to an optical disk, pre-focusing lenses 12a and 12b for focusing the laser light, and SILs(solid Immersion Lenses) for further narrowing the laser light, and is further provided with a lens actuator 15 for driving the 1st relay lens 7 in the direction of the optical axis. |
