[Also in Division E2] A display case for a safety razor set or other article comprises tray and cover sections 10, 20 having rear walls 12, 22 oppositely bevelled in adjacent areas 12<SP>1</SP>, 22<SP>1</SP> which are enclosed by flexible hinge members 30, 33<SP>1</SP> In the embodiment described, a removable transparent frame 28 overlies the opened tops of the tray and cover sections. The peripheral walls of the tray 10 are provided with an upstanding rib 16, which engages with a peripheral channel 25 in the cover 20 when the case is closed after removal of the frame 28, a latch 27 on the cover also engaging in a recess (18a) (Fig. 7, not shown) in the front wall 15 of the tray. A razor is located in the tray by ribs 32, 34, a curved flange 14 and a recessed partition 17 whilst accessories are retained in the cover section 20. The side walls (46, 48, 54) (Fig. 8, not shown) of the frame 28 are coextensive with the walls of the tray and cover sections but the rear wall (50) of the frame 28 is extended over the front wall 24 of the cover (Fig. 10, not shown), the latch 27 on which is projected through an aperture (52) (Fig. 12, not shown). The recess (18a) in the front wall 15 of the tray is engaged by a latch (19) on the front wall (54) of the frame 28. In an alternative embodiment, holes (40, 41) (Fig. 8, not shown) are provided in the bottom of the tray to drain off water and the cover section is recessed at (58), (Fig. 1, not shown) to provide a display panel. |
