Hall or enclosure of square plan cells - has odd length columns joined by U channels at top ends

Each cell has columns (1, 2) at the corners which differ in height diagonally viewed and are releasably joined at their top ends by U channels (8). The shorter columns (2) are hollow and the channels issue into these. The columns on two parallel sides of the cell square stand on tubes (5) and are releasably connected to these, the short columns issue into the tubes and couplings (14) are fitted to the ends of the tubes for connecting to the tubes of adjoining hall cells. Diamond shaped tent panels grasp round the channel legs at the rims and are releasably secured to these, using ropes (4) for bracing on the columns on the outer side of the hall.
