PURPOSE:To obtain a weight balancing apparatus in compact structure by using the rotary spring of which spring constant decreases by stages, as the torsional angle of the spring increases. CONSTITUTION:When an arm 9 is turned clockwise, the moment of clockwise rotation due to the weight of the arm 9 increases gradually and reaches the maximum value at a horizontal position 9'. Through the turn of the arm 9, the body 4 of revolution is turned clockwise, and springs 5 and 13 are twisted, and their springy forces increase gradually, and the springy force reaches the maximum at a horizontal position 9', and the springy forces due to the springs 5 and 13 act as the force almost offsetting the maximum clockwise rotational moment due to the weight of the arm 9. |
