PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method by which a formed body made of C/C material and having a cylindrical form or a crucible shape can be produced with a simple process. SOLUTION: The method for producing the formed body comprises first cutting a prepreg sheet obtained by impregnating a thermosetting resin into a carbon fiber cloth and semi-curing, then arranging the cut sheet chip on the surface of a core having a desired shape and adhering it, after laminating to a prescribed thickness, wrapping the laminated matter with mold-releasable paper having plural small holes, further inserting the wrapped material into an elastic bag, preliminary curing the formed body by isostatically pressing under reduced pressure, and, after taking the formed body out of the elastic bag and curing, heat treating the formed body under a non-oxidative atmosphere to fire and carbonize the formed body. |
