PURPOSE:To use only information of required colors as image information by reading once an original written in multi colors and storing it to extract the information in a memory. CONSTITUTION:Reflected light of an original 1 irradiated by a light source 2 is divided into light led to a color filter 4 and light led to a color filter 5 by a half mirror 3. A dropout color by the color filter 4 is yellow and a dropout color by the color filter 5 is red. The light passing through the color filter 4 is converted into an image signal by a photoelectric converting circuit 6, stored in a memory circuit 8, and the image signal information is the subtraction of the information written in yellow from the information written on the original 1. On the other hand, the light passing through the color filter 5 is converted into an image signal by a photoelectric converting circuit 7 and stored in a memory circuit 9, and the image signal information is the subtraction of the information written in red from the information written on the original 1.
