<p>PURPOSE: To contrive a desired delay, to avoid the damage of cylinder assemblies and to eject a pierced blank by providing the cylinder assemblies in a manifold and providing an accumulator for connecting to a hydraulic valve. CONSTITUTION: Plural cylinder assemblies 16 are attached in the manifold 17. During the downward motion, by the action of compressed nitrogen, the cylinder assemblies 16 play a role in forming a cushion. When punching work is ended and the upper die is upwards moved, a solenoid valve is enabled flowing an electric current and communication between mutual passages is closed with a plunger, so hydraulic fluid becomes passable and the upper piston 26 is locked in the lower position. When the electric current to the valve 50 is disconnected, the fluid becomes passable and the upper piston 26 is upwards moved and slag is ejected from a workpiece in cutting or punching.</p> |
