PURPOSE:To eliminate need for inputting an identification(ID) number and to make it possible to discriminate ID by using a computed result utilizing a part of an ID discriminating condition as an ID number. CONSTITUTION:A card reader 2 side is constituted so as to store data obtained when the newest OK card read is read out as an ID discriminating condition, a part of an ID discriminating condition or a part of a result obtained by the arithmetic processing of plural ID discriminating conditions is used as an ID number and the ID number is not stored in the ID card. A rule for computing the ID number is previously determined by a card issuer 1 side and the card reader 2 side. Consequently, the need for storing the ID number in the magnetic card can be eliminated and the security of the ID number can be improved. |
