PURPOSE:To improve triboelectrostatic chargeability, the balance between the density of a line drawing image and the density of a picture image and durability by coating the surface of nucleus particles with a coating material which is formed of a resin compsn. dispersed with a conductive material and has a specific resistance. CONSTITUTION:The surface of the nucleus particles is coated with the coating material which consists of the resin compsn. dispersed with the conductive material and has 10<5>-10<13>OMEGAcm specific resistance. One or >=2 kind are selected and used from a styrene/acrylic resin, silicone resin, fluorine-contg. resin, polyester resin, modified amino resin, etc., as the resin to constitute the component of the coating material. The conductive material is exemplified by carbon black, metallic salt of fatty acid such as zinc stearate and magnesium stearate, and metallic oxides such as zinc oxide, titanium oxide and magnetite. The triboelectrostatic chargeability, the balance between the density of the line drawing image and the density of the picture image and durability are improved in this way. |
