PURPOSE:To obtain a preparation of Chinese herbal medicine usable for improv ing physical constitution, removing substances causing pains and inflammations, containing a component prepared by subjecting a fruit body of edible Basidiomycetes to self-digestion until the external form thereof disappears. CONSTITUTION:A fruit body of edible Basidiomycetes such as Flammulina velutipes, Armillaria matsudake and Lyophyllum aggregatum is sealed in a container with no transmission of oxygen, allowed to stand at a cold place at 0-10 deg.C, preferably about 5 deg.C for several hours to several days, preferably 2-3 days and subjected to self digestion. The fruit body subjected to self-digestion is useful as an agent for percutaneous or oral use. By applying the percutaneous agent to the skin of onset part, pus can be discharged from an inflammatory part with stored pus without effecting incision and adenolymphitis caused by inflammation is alleviated by using an oral drug together with the percutaneous drug. |
