PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject new inhibitor and coagulant, and to provide a method for coagulating leukemic cells. SOLUTION: This leukemic cell growth inhibitor or coagulant consists of agrins as lectin protein extracted from the flesh of Agrocybe cylindracea. The other objective method for coagulating leukemic cells comprises adding at >=50 nM the above lectin protein extracted from the flesh of Agrocybe cylindracea to a suspension of T-cell- or B-cell-based leukemic cells. |
