REGULATION OF THE SINUSAL RHYTHM BY A HUMAN MEMBRANE RECEPTOR SEQUENCE

Hybrid nucleic acid sequence comprising a sequence coding for a human membrane receptor involved in the regulation of the sinusal rate of heart-beat and particularly the (beta)1-adrenergic receptor, non-human transgenic mammals having such sequence and applications thereof as research model, method for producing such mammals, cells and tissues of non-human transgenic mammals wherein the expression of said human receptor is controlled as well as method for valuation of drugs useful for treating heart-beat rate troubles. Said sequence is comprised at least of one fragment of a gene coding for a human membrane receptor involved in the regulation of the human sinusal heart-beat rate and a heterologous promoter specific to the auricles.
