PURPOSE:To easily attach/detach an original carrying device by providing an actuating member coming into contact with the edge of an original in a carrying path and operated, in the original carrying device and a sensor engaged with the actuating member and actuated, in a device main body. CONSTITUTION:A part of the actuating member 30 provided in the vicinity of the entrance of the original carrying path of the original carrying device 4 capable of being attached/detached to/from an image forming device main body is projected between an original feeding roller 21 and a guiding member 24 and the actuating member 30 is composed of a detecting member 23 rocked by abutting/releasing on/from the edge of the carried original and an actuator 27 integrally operated with the member 23. On the other hand, the sensor 26 provided on the device main body is engaged with the actuator 27, to be actuated and issues a prescribed signal in response to the rocking, to actuate a cutter and cut a transfer material carried from a roll paper feeding part into size corresponding to that of the original. Thus, one or plural position sensors for detecting the size of the original provided in the original carrying device, a connector, etc., are dispensed and a compact original carrying device can be easily attached/detached. |
