PURPOSE: A method for controlling an inertial operation of a washing machine is provided to prevent the washing time delay and the driving force loss by executing a follow-up operation is executed in case that a motor is completed stopped. CONSTITUTION: It is judged whether the washing operation of a washing machine is completed. If the washing operation is completed, the dehydration is started. A motor is forwardly and reversely rotated and then stopped in order for the motor to be carried out with an inertial rotation(S204). Generated pulses are detected during the inertial rotation of the motor(S205). As the pulse detection result, if the pulses are not detected from the motor, it is judged that the motor is actually stopped and then the water supply operation is started. |
