<p>PURPOSE:To provide a crystal nucleation agent composed mainly of a rosin metal salt, etc., effective for increasing the crystalllzation velocity of polyolefins and useful for giving a molded article having excellent mechanical properties and/or optical properties. CONSTITUTION:This crystal nucleation agent for polyolefin is composed mainly of a metal salt (Na salt, K salt, Mg salt, etc.) of a rosin (e.g. natural rosin or modified rosin) or is a compound of formula (R'', R<2> and R<3> are each independently H, an alkyl, a cycloalkyl or an aryl) and/or its metal salt. The agent is also effective for reducing the size of the crystal.</p> |
