摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To well maintain treated water quality by stopping a high-speed operation at the point of the time when the change rate obtd. by measuring the concn. of MLSS in an endless water path in a high-speed operation time zone of rotors attains a prescribed value or above and resetting the operation to an on-off operation by initial middle and low-speed rotation. CONSTITUTION:The high-speed operation time zone of the aeration rotors 6, 7 are determined at least once a day and the change rate of the concn. in a ditch 2 is automatically measured by an MLSS meter 11 in this time zone, in this operation control method of the oxidation ditch method which controls the number of revolutions or operation time of the rotors 6, 7 of a mechanical aerator by the signals from a controller 10. The high-speed operation of the aeration rotors 6, 7 is stopped and the aeration rotors 6, 7 are reset to the on-off operation by the initial middle and low speed rotation at the point of the time when the change rate attains the preset prescribed value or above. As a result, it is prevented that a large amt. of the activated sludge is made to soar up and the long-time operation of the aeration rotors 6, 7 at a high speed is executed.</p>
