<p>PURPOSE: To judge that pressure is applied to a touch panel without consuming unrequired power by grounding an electrode for detecting the voltage of the touch panel until the electrode for connecting a power source is added. CONSTITUTION: Signal lines 11-14 for controlling transistors 2-5 from a CPU are set to 5V first, the transistors 2 and 3 are turned off, the transistors 4 and 5 are turned on and the touch panel 1 and the capacitor 7 of a noise elimination filter are discharged. Then, after the lapse of fixed time, the signal lines 11 and 14 are set to 5V, the signal lines 12 and 13 are set to 0V, the transistors 2 and 4 are turned off and the transistors 3 and 5 are turned on. Thus, the voltage in the X axis direction of the touch panel 1 is applied and a position where the pressure is applied appears in a Y axis electrode as the voltage. Thus, after the lapse of the fixed time further, an X coordinate to which the pressure is applied us obtained from an A/D converter connected to the signal line 15. A Y coordinate is obtained simultaneously.</p> |
