PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing RF cautery system provided with a split tip electrode catheter. SOLUTION: A catheter 10 is composed of an elongate catheter body part 11 having a base end part, a tip part 2 and an inner hole part piercing them; and a catheter tip part 12 disposed at the tip part 2 of the catheter body part 11 and having a flexible tube 24 with a base end part and a tip part, and an inner hole part piercing the flexible tube 24. The base end part of the flexible tube 24 is fixed to the tip part 2 of the catheter body part 11, and the catheter tip part 12 is composed of a split tip electrode 20. The split tip electrode 20 is composed of two electrically insulated electrode members fixed to the tip part of the flexible tube 24. Each electrode member has a pair of internal flat face part and external contact face part, and the internal flat face part is in a electrically insulated state close to the internal flat face part in the other electrode member. The system further has a reference electrode 5 fittable to the outside of a patient. |
