PURPOSE: A method of tracing a route in an information service system which can reduce the capability of server memory and directly access an engine label in tracing the route is provided. CONSTITUTION: A method of tracing a route in an information service system includes the steps of: transferring a routing information selected by a client to a server (401); transferring a property value of the routing information and the format of hash table which is generated based on a hash table to the engine label of the server (402, 403); and tracing the route using the property value of the format of hash table by the engine label and displaying the trace result on the client, wherein the routing information includes departure and destination data among traffic information (404, 405, 406). Therefore, according to the method, when tracing a route in an information service system, the capability of server memory can be reduced by directly accessing an engine label.
