AC/DC POWER MICROWAVE OVEN BY MICROCOMPUTER CONTROL

PURPOSE: An AC/DC power microwave oven is provided to enable a user to use more conveniently and safely by control of a microcomputer. CONSTITUTION: An AC/DC power microwave oven includes a converter(100) for converting DC power to AC power by rotation of a commutator(130), a high voltage transformer(200) for receiving AC power from the converter or commercial AC power and increasing the voltage, and a magnetron driven by the voltage increased by the transformer and generating microwaves. A key input part(300) outputs an operating signal corresponding to the key inputted by a user. A microcomputer(310) outputs a control signal corresponding to the operating signal of the key input part. A plurality of power relays are ON/OFF according to the control signal of the microcomputer, and apply or cut off the input power to DC power side load or commercial AC power side load. Accordingly, the microcomputer prevents a malfunction of the microwave oven or overcurrent of the transformer though the user operates incorrectly.
