PURPOSE: A tester for testing the durability of an air conditioning mode control lever for an automobile is provided to evaluate the durability of the air conditioning mode control lever or various levers at fixed quantity. CONSTITUTION: A tester for testing the durability of an air conditioning mode control lever(100) for an automobile includes a tester mounted on a floor through a fixing jig and sliding a member coupled with forming fixed and movable rails at one side surface through a fixing rod for fixing the member at an appropriate position, a cylinder housing(42) mounted on the fixing rod of the tester and slidably inserting an air cylinder(40), a connecting jig automatically operated by a connecting cable and a pneumatic circuit part as set speed and the counted numbers for horizontally and rectilinearly moving, energy transmission elements transmitting motion power of the connecting jig for inserting and drawing the air cylinder from the cylinder housing, and the lever coupled with the connecting jig in a predetermined direction for rectilinearly moving according to the motion power of the connecting jig to be tested related to the durability.
