The invention relates to an output device for data transmission lines which are used for transmitting data between a moving object and a station. Said output device comprises a coil body (2) on which a data transmission line (1) is wound in the form of a unit of several layers (21). According to the invention, the windings are mounted with a maximum tensile stress or force in each position. Said tensile stress or force depends on the elasticity modulus of the data transmission line (1). Creeping or flowing of the material of the data transmission line (1) due to the pressure which is exerted on the individual layers is thereby reduced or avoided and a stable arrangement of the windings is guaranteed over a long period of time. The pressure of a winding on the layer underneath is, at least in the lower area of the windings, less than 0.6 N/mm<2>. The maximum tensile stress is calculated on the basis of the diameters of the data transmission line (1) and of the coil body (2), the elasticity modulus of the data transmission line (1) and the total number N of the layers (21) of the unit.
