PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit a lighting fixture for vehicles to fully exhibit a lance engaging function during mounting of a lens and a lamp body, without impairing the appearance quality of the lighting fixture, the lighting fixture having a lens end curved so as to extend backward. SOLUTION: A lance 14d is formed on the outer wall surface of a mounting groove part 14c of a lamp body 14, the mounting groove part 14c being located rearward of the right end of a lens 12 which end is curved so as to extend backward. A lance- engaging part 12d engaging the lance 14d is formed on the outer wall surface of the mounting leg 12a of the lens 12, with the mounting leg 12 being inserted into the mounting groove part 14c. The front end face 12d1 of the lance-engaging part 12d is formed approximately parallel to the rear wall surface 12c1 of a lens outer peripheral edge 12c. Thereby the front end face 12d1 of the lance engaging part 12d is given a return angle, such that once the lance 14d is engaged by the lance engaging part 12d through insertion of the mounting leg 12d into the mounting groove part 14c, they are not easily disconnected from each other but surely maintain their mutually engaged condition. A sliding type is established, even though the lens outer peripheral edge 12c is not formed into a trapezoidal cross section, and the surface of the lens 12 is prevented from recessing. |
