PURPOSE: A device for feeding a pickup is provided to minimize a load of a lead screw when an optical pickup device is fed by adjusting a parallelism with respect to a guide shaft of the lead screw. CONSTITUTION: A turntable(12) is mounted on the upper surface of a deck base(10). A non-magnetic portion of an optical disk is closely contacted on the turntable(12). A guide shaft(28) and a lead screw(26) are installed on the deck base(10) in parallel in accordance with a radius direction of the optical disk. The both ends of the guide shaft(28) are fixed by a fixing unit(30). A driving motor(20) is installed at one side of the deck base(10) for being connected to one side end portion of the lead screw(26) through a driving gear(22) and a slave gear(24). The other end side portion of the lead screw(26) is supported by a parallelism supporting unit. The parallelism supporting unit comprises an adjusting member(102), an engaging member(104), and a bearing(100). The adjusting member(102) is engaged to the deck base(10) by the engaging member(104). The adjusting member(102) has a penetration hole(102a) being penetrated by the engaging member(104) and a holder hole(102b) for supporting the end side portion of the lead screw(26). The bearing(100) is inserted into the holder hole(102b). The bearing(100) is supported by a fixing groove(102c). The other end side portion of the lead screw(26) is inserted and supported by a hollow portion of the bearing(100). An optical pickup device(16) is movably combined at the guide shaft(28) through a pickup base(18) and combined at the lead screw(26) by a screw.
