PURPOSE: A method of managing operating information of a facsimile is to transmit the operating information of the facsimile to a computer in a desired time unit, thereby allowing a user to edit or manage the transmitted operating information. CONSTITUTION: When an operation to be processed is generated in a facsimile telegraph, operating information corresponding to the operation is stored in a memory. Whether a transmitting condition for transmitting the operating information to a computer is satisfied is decided. If the transmitting condition is satisfied, whether the operating information is can be transmitted to the computer is decided. If the operating information is can be transmitted to the computer, the operating information stored in the memory is transmitted to the computer. Then, the operating information transmitted from the facsimile is stored in a storing medium. The operation includes one of a transmitting/receiving operation of the facsimile and a registering operation of data.
