PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make optimum corrections on image data by detecting the proper background color of the image data and deciding a correction coefficient, after eliminating the background color from the image data. SOLUTION: This image processing unit 102 is provided with a background color detection means 202, that detects a color most frequently used in image data in an image received as a background color and a correction means 203, that decides a correction coefficient on the basis of corrected image data, resulting from eliminating the detected background color from the image data to correct the image data. Thus, a background color proper to each image data can be detected. |
