A cardboard box used especially for pharmaceutical products, cosmetics or food and has an interlocking seal which is damaged upon opening. Both the lid and base interlock with a supplementary tab (R) and associated tab slit (Y) and main locking tab (F). The carton can may be opened for first use of the contents and subsequently repeatedly closed using the locking tab and associated slit (Z).
