PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for functionally strengthening rack space management. SOLUTION: This method is provided with a step for providing rack space requirement database containing the summary of each of rack space requirement histories, a step for providing a rack space availability database containing the summary of at least one of rack space management solution, rack space information and rack space diagnosis, and a step for using the data mining technology for inquiring the problem of rack space requirements to the rack space requirement database and the rack space availability database for generating an output data steam correlated to the rack space availability solution.
