PURPOSE: A brake system of an automobile is provided to improve brake response performance when a hydraulic circuit is damaged by promptly intercepting the hydraulic circuit when oil leakage occurs in the hydraulic circuit to prevent operation delay of a tandem master cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A brake system of an automobile includes solenoid valves(30,40) mounted at inlets of front and rear hydraulic pressure tubes, error sensors(50) mounted on hydraulic cylinders of brake systems for sensing operation of a cup(21) or a piston(22) and sensing oil leakage of the hydraulic pressure tubes, and an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(60) for intercepting the hydraulic pressure tube, from which oil leakage occurs, by operating the solenoid valve located on a line where the oil leakage occurs.
