PURPOSE: A coil lifting device is provided to automatically and safely lift up a defective coil on the inner coiling part of which telescopes are generated without worry about falling accidents of the coil. CONSTITUTION: The coil lifting device comprises a body part(30) consisting of hooks one side surfaces of which are opened, and each of which are integrally mounted on end parts of arms that are respectively oppositely directed, rack gears which are formed at the lower surface in an inner space of each hooks, and guiders each of which are fixed and mounted so that a moving bar is inserted and guided into the guiders; and an operation part(50) consisting of a drum member(53) on which a wire(53a) an end part of which is connected to the upper part of the moving bar(33) is coiled to a certain length, a first motor(51) rotationally driving the drum member(53), and a second motor rotationally driving a pinion gear(56a) that is in gear with a rack gear of the moving bar(33) the front end of which is inserted into the one side of the guider(32b) so as to insert the horizontally transferred moving bar(33) into an inner coiling part of a coil.
