PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data interpolating program for preventing an error in deciding an interpolating method based on the discrimination of property of an image to be interpolated and performing an adequate interpolating corresponding to printing quality and to provide an image data interpolating method and an image data interpolating device. SOLUTION: A first interpolating is superimposed on a second interpolating based on a prescribed evaluating function. Since the evaluating function relies on image property, an interpolating rate corresponding to image property is decided and also the rate of a more proper interpolating is increased so as to permit the advantage of each interpolating to be conspicuous. Besides, a defect is not made to be prominent in the both processings. As a result, the error in deciding the interpolating method based on the discrimination of property of the image to be interpolated is prevented. Moreover the superimposition rate of the more proper interpolating is increased in accordance with print quality to give influence on the effect of the interpolating so that the adequate interpolating is performed in accordance with print quality.
