PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-cavity klystron device capable of setting the frequency of a high-frequency input signal lower than an operation frequency. SOLUTION: This multi-cavity klystron device is provided with an input cavity 12 for inputting the high-frequency input signal, first and second intermediate cavities 14a, 14b, 15a and 15b positioned in the traveling direction of an electron beam (e) of the input cavity 12 and an output cavity 16 for outputting an amplified high-frequency output signal having a predetermined operation frequency. The resonant frequency of the input cavity 12 is set to half of the operation frequency or at a frequency close to it, and the resonant frequency of the output cavity 16 is set equal to the operation frequency.
