Whereby the learning of the learning value KG (i) can be properly executed to control the air fuel ratio learning value KG (i) to a value corresponding to the shift to a proper value of the air fuel ratio. The air fuel ratio can be controlled to the proper value (for example, [12]) on the basis of the air fuel ratio learning value KG (i) with high accuracy in rich combustion in accompany with the rich spike control.
