PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a mounting structure of a connecting pipe capable of mounting the connecting pipe in an airtight state for making mutual air chambers communicate and a method for mounting the connecting pipe. SOLUTION: This mounting structure of a connecting pipe 3 a flange 14 and a peripheral part of a cloth body 12 are permeated with a latex solution, a latex coagulating liquid is applyied from the external direction to the flange 14 and the peripheral part of the cloth body 12, coagulating the latex solution, and the connecting pipe 3 is fixed with the coagulated latex layer in the mounting structure of the connecting pipe 3 in which an air chamberlike body 13 is formed and the connecting pipe 3 is inserted from an inserting part Z and fixed. The method has the following advantages. Since the flange 14 and the peripheral part of the cloth body 12 are permeated with the latex solution and the latex coagulating liquid is applied from the outside of the flange 14 and the peripheral part of the cloth body 12, the connecting pipe 3 can firmly be fixed. Since a large amount of the latex solution is soaked into the part of the large texture of the base fabric, the thick latex layer can be formed and the air chamber having excellent airtightness can be produced.
