<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food package that retains a freshness of perishable food even if the food is stored in a refrigerator for a long time. <P>SOLUTION: The opening of the storage bag 2 made of a synthetic resin sheet can be closed with a slide fastener 29, thereby sealing the bag. A water absorbent sheet 4 is accommodated in the storage bag 2. The water absorbent sheet 4 extends on the insides of the first side 21, second side 22, and bottom 25 of the storage bag 2. Thus, with the perishable food 5 wrapped by the water absorbent sheet 4, drips of water from the food 5 can be absorbed in the water absorbent sheet 4.
