<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a fastening workability and a supporting strength of an intake device of an engine even if the device is constructed in dividing structure. <P>SOLUTION: An intake device 3 of an engine 2 is constructed in the dividing structure formed by an inlet manifold 4 arranged at one side of the engine, and by a surge tank member 5 having a branch passage section 6 communicating to the inlet manifold 4 and a surge tank section 7, and an upstream flange section 42 of the inlet manifold 4, on which the surge tank member 5 is attached, is made to incline in a slanting upper direction of the engine. Stays, which is brought into contact with counterparts in bolt fastening, are integrally formed at one side or both sides between a vicinity of an intake introducing section 71 of the above-mentioned surge tank member and a downstream flange section 44 of the inlet manifold 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
