PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vinyl chloride resin composition that has a phyllosilicate uniformly dispersed therein, is excellent in appearance and has high rigidity. SOLUTION: The vinyl chloride resin composition comprises (A) a vinyl chloride resin and (D) a phyllosilicate-containing powder comprising (B) a phyllosilicate and (C) an organic polymer wherein the phyllosilicate (B) is uniformly microdispersed into the organic polymer (C) in the phyllosilicate-containing powder (D).
