A process for producing resin particles, characterized by adding a liquid material having a boiling point of 100°C or higher to an aqueous dispersion of resin particles, filtering the resultant mixture to recover a wet cake, and then drying the wet cake to obtain resin particles. The liquid material preferably is a water-soluble material. The liquid material may comprise at least one compound selected among the compounds shown in The Japanese Standard of Cosmetic Ingredients, Compounding Ingredients of Cosmetics by Category, The Japanese Pharmacopoeia, or The Japan's Specifications and Standards for Food Additives. According to the process, resin particles can be provided which are prevented from aggregating upon drying and which, when added to other materials, can have excellent dispersibility.
|
