PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a head floating amount a pseudo contact of submicron or below, to prevent a problem of generation of heat and to precisely reproduce recording information on an optical recording medium. SOLUTION: A photodiode area 1-3 is formed on a top surface part 1-2 of a floating slider 1-1. A light shield film 1-3 is formed so as to cover the area 1-3 through an insulation layer 1-4. A protection film 1-6 is formed on the upper surface of the light shield film 1-5. A minute opening 1-7 is formed penetrating through the central part of the light shield film 1-5 and the protection film 1-6. A laser diode 3 and a condenser lens 4 are arranged on a surface opposite to the surface on which an optical head 1 is arranged of the optical recording medium 2, and the information recording part 2-1 of the optical recording medium 2 is irradiated with a light beam LB from the laser diode 3. The size of the minute opening 1-7 is less than a waveform of a light source.
