PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply (carry) and interrupt AC power to an electronic device connected as a load by using a semiconductor switch and a relay switch with an allowable power capacity smaller than handled AC power. SOLUTION: An AC power supply switch circuit has a FET element and the relay switch connected in series, supplies and interrupts the input AC power to the electronic device connected as the load, and is configured so as to generate and synchronize a switching control signal with an input AC power supply voltage and operate a mechanical switch contact in the relay switch when the input AC power supply voltage is a predetermined voltage or lower.
