PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spiral stator core for a rotary electric machine capable of attaining high mechanical strength and magnetic properties. SOLUTION: In the spiral stator core, turn notched portions 104 of a pair of core backs 101 adjacent to each other in an axial direction are shifted from each other in a peripheral direction.
