<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the degree of freedom at the time of displaying or printing bar code images and to flexibly select the setting of display or printing corresponding to the kind of a display means and a printing medium. <P>SOLUTION: Inputted data are divided into two or more pieces of data further (S102). For the respective divided data, connection information stipulating an order at the time of connecting the respective data so as to be a state before division is generated. Bar code image data corresponding to the respective divided data are formed (S103). Control is performed such that the respective bar code images generated on the basis of the bar code image data are displayed or printed in the state of being arranged by selecting either one of a first arrangement form where they are arranged so as to be lined roughly on the same straight line according to the connection information and a second arrangement form where they are arranged in a row so as to be parallel to each other in the order according to the connection information or being arranged by selecting both of the arrangement forms (S104-S109). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
