PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spread spectrum communication receiver that can eliminate a pseudo-noise code components so as to extract a base band analog signal with high quality even when the pseudo-noise code component cannot sufficiently be suppressed through inverse spread spectrum processing. SOLUTION: On the occurrence of a phase error between a receiver spread spectrum signal and a reference pseudo-noise code and of leakage of the signal in a multiplier 19 that conducts inverse spread spectrum processing, residual component baseband analog signal (a) of a pseudo-noise code passing through a filter 20 is superimposed on a pseudo-noise code component (b). A multiplier 32 multiplies a spread spectrum signal without information of the base band analog signal obtained via a comparator 31 with a reference pseudo noise code, and a filter 33 outputs the component (b). A subtractor 34 subtracts the pseudo- noise code component (b) from the signal (a) to obtain a baseband analog signal (c) with enhanced S/N ratio from which the pseudo-noise component (b) is removed.
