A technology for implementing a caption function during remote IP(Internet Protocol) streaming of digital broadcasting contents is provided to remake a screen because the screen of the remote terminal is smaller than that of a TV during caption broadcasting when a broadcasting program is transmitted to the remote terminal through an IP streamer, and display the remake screen to be suitable for the remote terminal, thereby improving the effect of remote watching. A broadcasting receiving module performs an STB(Set Top Box) function. A storage and reproduction module performs a DVR(Digital Video Recorder) function. An IP(Internet Protocol) streamer module transmits a stored broadcasting program to a remote PC(Personal Computer) or a portable terminal through IP communication. A control module interlocks the broadcasting receiving module, the storage and reproduction module, and the IP streamer module, and a remote service module by interlocking an XML(eXtensible Markup Language)-based communication and control protocol with the middleware of a platform. A remote service module includes a multimedia player to enable the control of a PMP(Portable Multimedia Player) and program watching while communicating with a control module within the PMP.
