An apparatus for mounting a rear flap door is provided to adjust an opening angle of the rear flap door by opening the rear flap door by a two-stage process. An apparatus for mounting a rear flap door comprises a gas lifter(10) and a mounting member(20). The gas lifter is installed on a rear side engine room in a vehicle to transmit power for opening the rear flap door. The mounting member includes a first fixing part, which is installed on a rotating center shaft and is fixed to a vehicle body, a rotating part which rotates on a first hinge shaft and a second fixing part. The second fixing part rotates on a second hinge shaft of the rotating part such that the second fixing part is installed on the rear flap door to rotate on the first/second hinge shafts in a two-stage process.
