PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact lubricating oil supply device capable of promoting warming of an engine by controlling injection of lubricating oil from oil jets when the lubricating oil is high in viscosity, such as at low oil temperatures. SOLUTION: The lubricating oil supply device 1 includes a main gallery 2 for supplying lubricating oil to each lubricated part of the engine, and oil jets 4. Each oil jet 4 is connected to an oil-jet gallery 5 branching from the main gallery 2 at a branching point 2A, to supply the lubricating oil. An oil control valve 12 is disposed between the branching point 2A and the oil jets 4. The oil control valve 12 has the function of changing the opening/closing operation characteristic of an intake valve and an exhaust valve. The oil control valve 12 is held depressurized to reduce oil pressure within the oil-jet gallery 5 to stop injection of the lubricating oil from the oil jets 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
